Stuart McSorley has joined the CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. California team as Director of Quality, reporting directly to Andy Brandenburg, General Manager Southern California. McSorley will play a key role in the Corona senior leadership team. His duties include executing and continuously improving the quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. He will also support the design and development of new products.
McSorley’s previous position was with Triumph Aerostructures, Vought Commercial Division, where he held the position of Quality Manager. Stuart brings 30 years of aerospace experience to CIRCOR including 12 years of FAA and quality experience with Bell, Parker Hannifin/Shaw Aero Devices, and GKN Westland. Stuart holds the UK equivalent of a Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering from UK City and Guilds Institute of London. He is certified in several OEM training courses including Allied Signal and Textron Six Sigma, Crosby QES, Boeing Lean, and GKN SCRIA. Stuart is also a certified quality auditor from the University of Portsmouth.
