As the scientific community relies more on the International Space Station for research, the facilities and systems that are critical for the astronauts comfort during their extended periods in space requires constant maintenance and upgrades to accommodate their needs. Aerodyne Controls, a CIRCOR Aerospace company, has recently signed a contract with Jacobs Engineering to supply components which will upgrade these systems on the International Space Station.
Aerodyne Controls will supply the solenoid control valves and pressure reservoir which help to control the flow of drinking water and operate the food re-hydration system. These parts will be qualified and delivered in early 2008.
Aerodyne Controls is a CIRCOR Aerospace company located in Ronkonkoma, New York dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of specialty fluidic control components and systems for demanding aerospace and defense applications.
