We are pleased to announce that Scott Kunkler has been selected to lead our combined design engineering team for the landing gear systems and fluidic controls businesses at LOUD Engineering and Manufacturing and Circle Seal Controls. Scott brings demonstrated capabilities in system engineering and leadership of complex engineering teams. He will be home based at the Corona campus and will continue to work with the Ontario team on a regular basis.
Scott previously was Director of Engineering for CIRCOR Aerospace –LOUD Engineering and Manufacturing. Prior to joining our company, Scott has held a number of critical technical leadership roles within the Smiths Aerospace landing gear systems business. Scott has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
Scott and Christopher Celtruda, Group Vice President, will be working to completely define the structure of our future engineering organization. It is expected that the roles, job descriptions and structure of the department will be defined in the coming weeks.
It is critical that this combined engineering team have the capabilities and culture required to meet the technical challenges of our existing programs and to address the design challenges for future aerospace and defense products and platforms.
