We are pleased to announce that Scott Kunkler has been selected to be a part of the CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group (CAP) executive staff as Director of Engineering reporting directly to Chris Celtruda, Group Vice President. In his expanded role, he will be accountable for leading and driving functional excellence of our Design Engineering teams across the Aerospace group, with accountability for the design teams in California, New York and France.
It is critical that this combined engineering team have the capabilities and culture required to meet the technical challenges of our existing programs and to address the design challenges for future aerospace and defense products and platforms across the CAP group.
Scott has served as Director of Engineering for CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. (CAI), the former Circle Seal and LOUD businesses located in Corona, CA. Prior to joining our company, he held a number of critical technical leadership roles within the Smiths Aerospace landing gear systems business. Scott has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
