CIRCOR Aerospace is pleased to announce the appointment of Herman Shanian as the Business Development Director for CIRCOR Aerospace - Aerodyne Controls starting on June 16, 2008. Herman will be responsible for the business development, sales, and strategy activities for the Aerodyne business. He will be based at the Aerodyne facility in Ronkonkoma, New York. Herman will report directly to Anish Patel, Vice President of Business Development & Strategy for CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group, and also serve on the Aerodyne leadership team reporting to the General Manager.
Herman brings over 20 years of aerospace and industry experience, most recently with Data Devices Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic networking solutions for commercial and military aircraft, where he held the position of Director of Sales with responsibility for over US$100M in annual sales. Prior to that, he was the North American Regional Sales Manager for Veeco Instruments, a leading provider for process and metrology capital equipment.
Herman holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
Reporting to Herman will be Kurt Black, Skip Bradford, Janet Gizzi, Stefanie Montemurro, Bob Tripodi, and Charlie Geiser.
The CIRCOR Aerospace Products Group is focused on the design, development, and manufacture of specialty fluidic control, actuation, and aircraft landing gear systems for demanding aerospace and defense applications.
