CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its new Aerospace and Defense manufacturing facility at 225 Citation Circle in Corona, California on June 19, 2008.

The CIRCOR Aerospace - Circle Seal Controls, Inc. and Loud Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc. businesses were combined to form CIRCOR Aerospace, Inc. earlier in 2008. This new entity is focused on improving CIRCOR’s ability to support our aircraft landing gear and fluidic control systems customers.

The new Corona facility is the culmination of a transition that involved moving the detail part manufacturing capabilities of both businesses to the Citation facility and combining the final assembly and test capability for landing gear into the Wardlow facility. Core business functions, including engineering, finance, and customer service have also been combined and will be located at the CIRCOR Aerospace Wardlow Circle facility.

The production readiness of this new facility represents an important achievement on the CIRCOR’s path to operational excellence and continuous improvement. CIRCOR leadership has expressed their appreciation and recognizes the hard work of the Southern California Operations team to ensure that the newly formed organization is prepared to face the manufacturing and production challenges of the future.

The CIRCOR Aerospace team is confident that the investment in this new facility, new capital equipment, and the development of a high performing work team will provide the capabilities and competitive position required to execute the systems customers will require for next generation aircraft designs.
